What's a fair price for a DEAN STYLIST BASS

But I personally would't go more than $300 for it. He's asking $465 which I think is a bit high. Actually his opening bid of $275 is about right for this bass.

I think they were only $400 brand new..i wouldn't go over $225

I think original list price was $600-700 depending on finish. Street was around $400+. The "Cabbie" model was a limited run. I remember reading 77 were made before the line was dumped.

This is a full hollow body with a deep body and no center block. Put a set of nice flats on and you have a good sounding bass. I have a "cabbie". When ever I take it somewhere people always ask about it.

I paid mine 320 euro brand new here in Italy just when they went out from catalogue in 2007. Currently here in Italy if you make a search on the www.mercatinomusicale.com there is one sunburst brand new for 350 if I recall it right. Don't know about Us but I would go for around 300 dollars max. It is a wonderful bass...
