| | | | What's your bass tuned to? I've been messing around with different tuning's for my 5 string ever since I bought a 6 string (now tuned to ADADGC) to use for the band I'm in.
So far, all I've come up with on the 5 is CFACD#. It's pretty fun to bounce around in clean, as well as blast through w/ distortion.
If anyone else has any other weird/awkward tuning's, please share.

I went to Bass pro shop and to my surprise they didn't have a single bass guitar.

So basically standard tuning on all 5ers, but generally 1/2 step down. Mostly with a B string, but increasingly with a C.

Basically dropped tuning only on four string basses.
Dropping the "G" string on the 5ers makes things more interesting. |
