Who Knows about Sandberg Basses ???

Been thinking about buying a new Sandberg and was wondering who out there in TB Land knows how well made they are(fit and finish) ? how they play ? What sound would you say they closest represent ? How were you treated by Sandberg as a company ? I`v played one of their basses and really liked it so why not pick one up unless someone has a good reason not to ?? Thanks in advance, TWISTED

I own a couple, and build quality is amongst the best around. They play astonishingly well, or at least mine do Sandberg, as a company will bend over backwards for customers, I've dealt with them as a customer several times. I reckon their turn around on a special order is less than three months, if memory serves me well. Not sure how the exchange rate etc will affect the cost on your side of the Atlantic though.
