It's a cheap Chinese bass, they are usually sold cheap, but with a high shipping costs. Don't know anything about the QC though.

I have one of his 5-strings, initially needed a bit of attention, but surprisingly good.

They're pretty but there are a ton of horror stories... body wood splitting and cracking... neck warping horribly. I thought about buying one and did a bunch of research.
