Possible ideas, A different pickup, maybe put an orange drop cap in it, add metal ferrules. Coat the fretboard? |

I wish I could shell out for it.

the body is Ambrosia maple (infested by the Ambrosia beetle), the fingerboard is maple, and the referenced luthier is... ME! Seller is the guy I sold it to.

Since I do not own a proper bandsaw, I used my pitiful little Black & Decker jig saw to cut out the body, and while slow, it worked. Then I cleaned her up on my spindle sander and the Dragon rasps. Viola! | SWEET!!! |
