On the right - Zoid VM6, I own it almost for 2 years.
On the left - Ergon custom fretless 5, arrived last month.
Both are 33 inch scale, Zoid is NT, Ergon is BO.
I never have time to take good pics, but I will surely make it this month. |

I just thought I'd share this video here if one of my groups, my chronos is featured prominently and might give others a good sense of how it sounds. Feedback would be appreciated. Thx. http://youtu.be/LU3cZxbV03s |

I absolutely dig this kind of music, if you ever will tour in Europe, it is definitely "must-go" for me! Great musicians, "tasty" bass playing, and your Chronos sounds so sweet! Loved it, thanks for sharing! |

The Chronos does sound very good, but I have to admit that I've discovered the secret weapon for that bass. I had a chance to audition an alien audio preamp, designed by the late Mo West. It sounds phenomenal, im installing one this weekend. I heard it for 5 minutes and it was a no-brainer. Then I tracked a tune in the studio with it and was totally sold. Way nicer to my ears than the stock East SP2, which sounds pretty great in its own right. |

I've been interested in their basses, but I'd love to try a pre in my own.
The Billy Sea sounds awesome! Nice mix of world and Americana styles. You guys would do well out here in New Mexico - especially up in Santa Fe or Taos. Very cool! |

Lucky for me, I was starting to think about scooping it up, but three chronos 6 strings is a little too decadent for me
Thanks blue blood! Will do man! |

First impression: Holy bejeebus it sounds great. Much more neutral and focused overall IMO. Very clear and more horn like in the upper register, more detail and focus down low. So far, I'm happy. Two more gigs with it today, looking forward to spending more time with it. It seems that for now I've found my preamp of choice |
