I'm a sucker for vintage gear, and I wouldn't spend 10k on a 64 refin, not even CLOSE, so why worry about it?
That bass is worth about half that in this current market. And even at that price, it still might not sell.

10K is WAY too much for a refinish, but man that sucks, I bet that's a really nice bass.

they yellow to different degrees than the laquer.
The ebay bass though is way too expensive for a refin. |

It's a beautiful aging job, from a relic'd/refinish perspective.
But yea, they'll be lucky if they get $4500 for that bass.
