All the best,
Bob

All the best,
Bob | This, or one of the better SX's in the $149-199 range.

All the best,
Bob | Bob is right on the money. If you need a low-cost J, take the Squier over the mystery meat.

Anything else in that price range is too much of a risk of being a real turd (((cough))) like SX! (((cough))).
Get something that at least has a ton of people saying they are good... like Squier.

I can point you to a Charvel CX490 for $150. Plus many many Great basses at low prices. No they are not mine. I just know how to find them and hand pick them.
Pm Me for advice on this subject. I have been buying and selling used and new basses for 30 years. You don't need a new bass. and you can't get a "great" new one in that price range. You can get a "Great" IMO used bass in that $$ range.
