We really shouldn't be posting or even thinking about the Mothman, since we are upon the holiday season. That's what the Mothman wants and we are being tested.

1. What's the Mothman?

2. Get me the Mothman.

3. Get me a bass that sounds like the Mothman.

4. Get me a brand new bass, just like the Mothman.

5. What's the Mothman?

There is only one. You do not own the Mothman; it owns you. (In case your question is serious, just do a TalkBass search on the Mothman. It has been discussed, debated, psalms written in great length.)

Our Mothman,
Who art a bass,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy metal strummed,
Thy weight be tons,
In the hands of the underwear chick.

Well obviously, that's because it is a monstrous thing, to slay a unicorn. Only one who has nothing to lose, and everything to gain, would commit such a crime. The blood of a unicorn will keep you alive, even if you are an inch from death, but at a terrible price. You have slain something pure and defenseless to save yourself, and you will have but a half-life, a cursed life, from the moment the blood touches your lips. So.......yeah.
Having said that, I'd probably take a thumb rest of some kind of awesome legendary Fender if it had one.
