Yamaha bass RBX or BB
 

Just looking for a little help. Can anyone tell me which Yamaha Bass is superior ? RBX760 or BB1500A. Any help would be appreciated. I,m looking more for a Jazz set-up or neck.

You're the judge of "superior."

Both very good, I'd take the BB.

Love the 1500A and would love to find another. If you don't buy it (if you have found one) point me in the direction and I'll take it.

+1 for the BB. I don't own one presently but GAS for one.

I've had both and prefer the BB. More natural sounding pre than the RBX. RBX was sorta scooped sounding. Didn't love it.

I've got a RBX760A and like it very much. I dig the more modern look to it as it plays and feels like a much more expensive bass IMO.

It's relatively light and hangs well. The electronics are somewhat generic sounding but they do sound pretty good regardless

I had a BB for a while and then popped all the frets off. It was a really nice sounding bass, I prefer it to the RBX.
