Master tone
Pickup balance
Master Volume

I think it's volume (P-Style split pickup) - volume (J-Style pickup) - tone (Overall), before seeing your post, I even forgot I had one of those as well, haha. I must say, for the money, those are very, very decent!

Beano is correct, vol vol tone. And yes, a very respectable bass.

Yep, older ones are vol, balance, and tone. New models are VVT.

I have a 270J, which is basically the new 170EW without the spiffy top and different controls. It's a very good all rounder and can hold its own against a lot of much more expensive basses.

I paid $60 for mine as someone had replaced two of the tuners with similar cheapo tuners and the nut needed work.

Best dressed and playing necks on any bass south of $400 in my opinion. Feel blows the SGR and Squiers out of the water, kinda boring though.

My first bass! Yep V/V/T. And super light weight. I see them on Craigslist quite a bit ... Great deal for the dough

I had one of these for awhile, too. It was a decent practice bass, and surprising quality for the price point. I prefer Squier CV and VMs, but that's just my personal taste and comfort level with Fender gear. If one has no preference, they're just as good.

Decent basses for the money. I actually miss mine, Great bass if you have back probs. Put some high end PUPs and pre in that sucker and run it with a nice amp and cab and you'll be in the mix.
