EDIT: That one on the left is a real hottie! I love the colour and the "scooped" section! Very pretty basses indeed, I wouldn't mind a TRB 6 string some day, if I can ever find one with 34" scale (might have the be a TRBJPI)!

They seem like a VERY good value. The neck is fast, and the body looks gorgeous. I once owned a BB1500A, and it was also an excellent value.

The Japanese TRBs are superior from a build quality and playability standpoint. The newer ones (made in Korea I think???) look cooler, but the Jap stuff is still the best....

The TRB 1006 is a great six string bass. As are the 1004 and 1005. I'm not a big fan of the fretless one though.
