That is the most amazing thing I have seen today!
Thanks so much for posting and congrats on an impossible find.

Thats astounding. ..the condition of it. It looks like a brand new reissue!!! To be a lefty as well. I am flabbergasted!!;

You see that little plug on G&L basses too. What a beautiful find.
|gbrooding ||02-13-2014 02:50 PM |
What is the purpose of that plug? Was it a hole used to hang the neck that was later filled? Oh, and by the way, it looks like your bass has only been out of the case a handful of times!! It looks perfect!

From the looks of the condition, we must surmise that the original owner of 45 years must have been right handed. lol.

HOLY MOTHER OF MOGWAI!! :eek::eek:
Am I filled with envy? Why yes I am! :D
Congratulations on a spectacular find.

I feel like we've just stepped back in time to 1965! Incredible find.
Anymore back story? Looks like it was never played. Big congrats to you!

Congratulations! That is amazing.

It's a fake, there were no left-handed people back then, they were forced to use right-handed instrument.
I kid, that is beautiful ( tears of joy :crying: )

Man alive - that is absolutely spectacular. Good on you, sir - what a beauty!

I don't know if I will ever see a better find than that Jazz.

Gonna be hard for anyone to top that find. A dream come true, I would imagine.
Somewhere there is a little old lady with a tweed case under her bed which contains a 1960 Jazz in factory condition which her late husband bought and never mastered. That's my fantasy - finding her and talking her out of that bass!
