Edit: by the way, your bass looks awesome... | I am just packing up, but I am likely bringing my Squier VM as a backup. No point bringing my MTD or Spector as I doubt they would get played!

There are TONS of tone options, from super-modern/scooped and aggressive to vintage and warm. I'm a big fan of soloing the neck humbucker and rolling off the tone... that tone knob is so handy!
One thing you're totally right about is how unforgiving the bass is. It really shows everything, which is great. Bass lines/fills I've played before on other instruments have always gotten buried, but with this, all notes speak nicely. Beware, however, mistakes are no longer easily thrown away! |

Well - very nice bass, and it sure sounds great.
For me the same bass with black metal parts - love it.
Congrats!

Play it well and be well playing it!

Davo | Yup.
Actually, one of the only "woman" touches in my basement studio. That corner of the room has 3 cigar humidors and other man cave stuff. She wanted to pretty it up, I guess!

It's almost scary how even the tone is throughout the frequency range with everything centered. The lack of midbass boom put me off at first, but I now find myself craving it...
Enjoy the new bass!
