I voted other, the two nicest fretless basses I've played were a Carvin custom and a Warwick corvette. Both sounded amazing...

I like the Wal tone, but prefer the Jaco Jazz tone. I haven't tried several of these so I shouldn't really have voted. Having said that I expect that I would prefer Rob Allen mouse but I've never even seen one in the flesh.

My current Yamaha TRB 1005 is very nice, but I used to have a Westone Thunder 3b that was lovely.





Oddly enough, this picture, which is of my bass & I took it in my back yard at the time, appears as an example in the Westone Forums.
