zzounds deluxe active p bass usa electronics? Zzounds has the deluxe active p bass special and in the description lists that it uses us made electronics. I can find no other reference to this fact. Anyone know the story? TIA Xa |
I had one of those for 2 years I do know that the pickups were cobalt noiseless and I believe us models use those active pickups but not 100% positive on that, what I can say is that was one of the best playing and sounding basses I've ever owned, and those pickups are hot!!!! More oomph than my buddy's music man and specter only complaint I ever had about it was that you could feel the frets along the edges of the neck |
The model is an MIM version, but only the ad copy on zzounds says us electronics. I'm skeptical. Xa |
I'm pretty sure the electronics are American but you can always call fender to ( place an order ;) ) and they will tell you, definitely a great bass even if they aren't American, IMO you can't get a better bass in that price range, they do eat batteries though, but I was bad about leaving it plugged in for 4 hrs at a time lol, |
I know the MIM jazz deluxe has US electronics. I definitely need to play a few. It looks like the perfect p/j solution. How was the neck? Xa |
It's a jazz neck, slim and fast, mine needed a setup but I like my action a little higher than most, I traded mine to a really good friend for a jazz v and regretted it, tons of different tones just by playing with the eq on the bass, I highly recommend them, of course I don't know exactly what you're looking for either |
