I'm outsourcing the delivery of the TalkBass Newsletter to a 3rd party service, and so you may be getting a 'confirm your subscription' email from TalkBass. It puts too much of a load on the TalkBass server to send out thousands of emails at once
If you don't want to receive the newsletter, do nothing and you won't get any more email. If you do want to subscribe, click the link in the email (or click below). The company we've hired (godaddy.com) is a reputable service and will not use, or disclose, your email address to anyone. Same goes for TalkBass - we will not sell or disclose your email or info to anyone, ever.
The TalkBass Newsletter is going to be revived as a community spotlight newsletter. I plan to feature randomly-chosen member profiles, thread highlights, site news, etc. It'll be a monthly mailing.
