- Fender Mexican Jazz Bass. I added pickups from a 1962 Reissue (i'm pretty sure), and removed some chunks of laquer with my overanxious rasping. rough baggage handlers were nice enough to remove a large chunk of finish when i took it apart and packed it in my suitcase to move overseas...
