• Acoustic Image Focus 2 Series III through EA Wizzy M-Line, Wizzy 12, and Wizzy 10 cabs

--------------------
• Fender Squier Precision w/Chromes
• Warwick Corvette 4 Standard (fretted and fretless), both w/TI Jazz Flats
• Rogue VB-100 (Hofner knock-off at 1/10 the price; very convincing sound with Pyramid strings)
--------------------
• Kustom 100 2x12 1970 black tuck & roll (I don't use it; wanna buy it?)
Previously owned gear:
• Johannes Köhr K64B double bass (hybrid, muffin top). A very nice starter bass; used it for three years before I found the Shen.
• Acoustic Image Clarus 1 Series III
• Tacoma CB10 fretless ABG (was my "upright" before I had a real one)
• Ampeg Dan Armstrong bass, clear Lucite 1970
• Ampeg B100R (great amp; a solid-state B15, but too heavy)
• Steinberger Spirit XT-2 bass
• Ibanez SR885 5-string bass
Gigs, Bands, & Ensembles:
Blue Skies Big Band (www.blueskiesbigband.com); Eugene Community Orchestra; small combo for occasional retirement-home gigs: traditional jazz, Dixieland, standards
Influences and Teachers:
It was listening to James Jamerson that got me playing again after 25 years.
Favorite Genres:
Swing: big-band, Western, manouche, and most anything else that swings
