- I went to a teacher for a year before eventually quitting due to bad attitude. I realize how frustrating it can be. All theory I am 100% self taught, and the experience helped mold the way I teach. Many teachers talk about big, grand concepts. I believe in teaching the student things that interest them and then slowly integrating things so they have a series of small "click" moments. I place a heavy emphasis on groove, feel, and as far as theory goes, it's all about the intervals. I teach things
