- first bass....yamaha 5 with active p-ups....gotta love it. also i have a BBE 362 sonic maximizer wich i no longer use because the low mid curve on my demeter pre sounds very similar if not better to my ears. also i have owned and used...a big muff Pi, bass crybaby wah, several low end p-basses,carvin heads and cabs and an ernie stingray fretless 4, austin eclipse pro 4
