Strings: (Stainless Steel is the way to go!)
Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky- nice "beater" strings
R. Cocco -Awesome tone and well made. The clarity and feel are outstanding. My new personal favorite.
GHS Supersteels (yellow pack)- close to the MTD's in sound and clarity
MTD - one of the better string sets I've ever used
Previously owned gear:
Carvin- Good mid level amp. Can't beat the price.
Mesa Boogie 400- The best all tube amp I've owned
David Eden WT 800- Love the cabinets...
Trace Elliot- Cool 80's rock sound but a little on the noisy side. I replaced it with an Ashdown EVO.
Wal MK 1- Superb quality/nice instrument. Wasn't what I was looking for so sold it to one of the coolest guys on TB (Caca De Kick).
Geddy Lee Jazz (Trade/$ deal) for another vintage Spector with rare toggle switches/dot inlays. Thanks Clint! (aka clbass)
