Influences and Teachers:
My father, Wilfred Maxwell. It's a long story, but he was 59 when I was born and passed away in 2003 at 82. He played on the big band circuit for years (30's,40's, and 50's). He even had a chance to play with the Glenn Miller Orchastra after WWII even though Glenn Miller had passed away. It was one of his best moments as a musician. He is my biggest influence. He taught me not only about bass and music, but how to be a good man, and a good husband to my wife. Other influences for me include my brother Stephen Maxwell, my instructor Tom Russo, Victor Wooten, Doug Wimbish (CT Love!), Flea, Matt Freeman, and so many more.
Favorite Genres:
Alternative, Rock, Hard Rock, Indie, Punk, Pop-Punk, Ska, Jazz, Big Band, and so much more!
Other Hobbies & Interests:
Guitar, Tech Nerd, Family, Friends, Sports...especially football!
