- Teaching Credentials:
- I've been studying and playing bass for 18 years. I specialize in extreme metal, but I experiment with methods of blending Death metal and black metal concepts with funk. I was a pick-style player for a couple of years, while I was starting out. I then moved into more finger-style playing. About 4 years ago, I began trying to incorporate Wooten's "Down, Up, Pluck, Pluck" technique, to achieve more consistent attack and greater speed. -And it works very well for faster metal.
