- The Squier Vintage Modified series has been treating me great. Initially picked up the Jazz Bass because it was cheap and I didn't feel bad about taking it out on the road; turned me on to the entire line. Road-worthy, stable, and the necks feel great. The Jaguar Bass has been my go-to lately (with Bill Lawrence Wilde P46 and J45 pickups), but I love the fretted and fretless Jazz Basses too. Been playing my Epiphone Jack Casady a lot at home; fun to play and inspires me to approach parts differently than the Fenders.

Shure SM57 - Previously owned gear:
- MM StingRay 4: not versatile enough, one-trick pony
Dunlop 105Q Wah: decent sound but sucked high end when off, delay between on & off annoying
DOD FX25B: just sounded like crap (unlike the FX25)
Boss CE-20: didn't do much for bass, gets lost in the mix, and no need for 4 separate chorus settings
Digitech Bass Synth Wah: has a couple cool sounds, nothing very usable, for the most part sterile and obnoxious (in a bad way) - Gigs, Bands, & Ensembles:
- Moonlight Bride
- Influences and Teachers:
- Rick Danko, Eric Wilson, Paul McCartney, Flea, Roger Waters, Radiohead, Flaming Lips, Brian Eno, The Clash, Television, Chris Squire, Victor Wooten, Peter Hook, the list goes on...
