- I have taught workshops on free improvisation and extended double bass technique in many parts of the US, and Canada to all ages. I taught masterclasses at the Banff Centre in Alberta, Canada in 2003. I was a longtime student of Mark Dresser, and have also taken lessons or workshops with Mike Formanek, Barre Phillips, and Ken Filiano. I also teach electric bass.
