Strings I use and like:

G.A.S. List:
I'm especially drawn to natural wood finishes, especially quilted or spalted maple, black korina and koa tops. There are many Warmoth basses I would love to make if I had the $$$. Especially a dinky hollowbody jazz or a quilted/spalted maple Precision. P basses get the short end of the stick when it comes to cool tops and finishes.
Gigs, Bands, & Ensembles:
Dayton Undercover
Influences and Teachers:
John Entwistle, Geddy Lee, Ross Valory, Stanley Clarke, Dee Murray, Stanley Sheldon, Chris Squire, Dave Hope, Sting, and many many others. I'm influenced by many instruments other than just bass. Sometimes it's just something with a good beat. A good drum rhythm can make me want to play or even a chase scene from a movie soundtrack.
Favorite Genres:
Progressive Rock, Classic Rock, Jazz, Opera
Other Hobbies & Interests:
Graphic design, art, my pets , reading sci-fi/fantasy.
Areas of Instruction::
Bass Guitar
