- I was hired by SLM Electronics in 1985. After a year I became a "tester" in Chassis Assembly Dept. In 1986 I was selected to be the line supervisor for the "Ampeg Reissued SVT-HD Skunk Works Project." From there I went back to the factory. In 1990 I went to the Service Dept. I did all of the speaker cabinet repairs, customer & store stock repairs. I was also the Quality control tester & Technical support guy.
