My vote for Bass Junkie's VF4 in fiesta red was with the tortoise shell guard as well. Very unique.

Nothing to be sorry about. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this! Trying to visualize it in my head I thought the tortoise might be too much, but it is very classy looking and I'm going to be one happy camper!

Cool. Glad I could help. Pickguards are replaceable anyways so if you don't like it you can
always just order the white one. I think a more vintage white or tan colored one would
look good too. It would match the clay inlays better than the plain white.

AC6 Re0Finish and Modification
Hey Guys,
George just sent me this picture of my AC6. Note the neck position pickup route and 'more red' finish I requested.

Yeah, I had thought about ordering another pickguard, but I really don't want to deal with swapping it out. I originally ordered tortoise and just recently starting second guessing it, but not anymore.
The next VF4 is going to be natural Northern Ash body, one piece maple neck w/ pearloid block inlays and binding, black pickguard, chrome and black knobs. 70's position pickups, BadAss bridge. If you feel up to it I'd love to see what it would look like. Thanks!

I also have a 34" AC4, I'll post pics later.

Of these two, I like the tortoise shell guard too, but I'd like to see it go head to head with the parchment.
[EDIT:] Okay, never mind. Tortoise it is.

I like the parchment too. I makes it look more candy/toy like or something.
