If you buy an Orange cabinet in the states it was made in the U.S.

Their heads are all made in England, though.

About 1/2 is .. the Megastores are to blame for this trend.

I had an interesting phone talk on a USA gear manufacturer talking about what has happened to the industry.

Peavey VB-2, made in USA, in Meridian Missisippi. Misissipi. No, wait, Mississippi. Oh well.

Peavey makes alot of stuff here in the US.

Now, it's time for the old Peavey VB_2 made in China vs U.S. arguments to start.

The RB series amps and the Fusion 550 are still made in California. Backlines in G-K's owned and operated factory in China. G-K makes 99% of their own speakers (not out-sourced). Can't say for positive but I believe some of artist series speaker cab boxes are made at the China factory and assembled here in the US.

Someone had mentione that Tech 21 was USA made. Their heads, cabs, preramps, and pedals are all made in NYC-USA.
Add it to the list.

They also kill! IMO

Not true... I have an OBC115 made in the UK & another built in the US. Other than the label and 1/4" jacks you can't tell them apart.

It depends on the year.

If it is a recent one, it is US made. I'm not sure of the date when they started building cabs in the US but it wasn't that long ago.
