hi steve, marco from italy here. i play bass a little and i study industrial design. i'm interested in your opinion about the best designed bass guitars. i'd like to know your favourite basses in these different peculiarity

2ergonomic design

4feel/balance

2i don' know
3fender jazz, rickenbacker 4001/4003

Hi Marco,

that's fairly easy, as my two favourite shapes are also the best ergonomically and feel-wise that I've come across - the Modulus 6 string bass that I play, and the Sei headed flamboyant 6 - see www.seibass.co.uk for more on those.

I also really like and feel the look of Geoff Gould's basses, Zon basses and the MTDs. Heck, there are loads of great looking and feeling basses out there, but I'll stick with Modulus and Sei as my two faves...
