Do you accept custom order of Zon bass?

We will indeed do custom orders on Zon basses!
International orders must be placed over the phone so that we can estimate shipping correctly. I'm sorry that you're having trouble emailing us, we've had some server problems the last few days that may have caused us to miss your email.
Please contact our Sales Manager, Brandt Bourque to get more info! Our local phone number is 225.751.3220 and Brandt's email address is brandt@ThePerfectBass.com.
Peace!

I would like to see a wider selection of strings. I believe you only have one set of flats for fretless for example. Any chance of being able to compete with places like JustStrings.com?

We should have compettitive pricing on strings as any other vendor. If you ind a lower price, but prefer to order from us, we have a low price guarantee, so just get in touch and we'll be competitive prices that we can verify.
Also, don't forget the Talkbass discount! Simply add the item to your cart on our site at www.ThePerfectBass.com and enter the PERMANENT promotion code we've set up for TB members. The promo code is "talkbass"!
We also have sales from time to time that may beat the talkbass promo code, so if you're not on our email list, you may want to sign up to make sure you're in on all the latest promos.
The best way to get on our email list is to sign up for one or more of our giveaways. You'll find banners all over this forum promoting our giveaways!
Peace!

Hi,
I'm new here, and this is a ways off, but I figured I should ask, since your reputation as a shop seems pretty formidable. Next may, I'm going to try and lay hands on a very specific guitar: A fretless four-string desert gold Musicman Bongo. As you might imagine, there aren't many places that you can walk into and snap your fingers and get something like that, so I was wondering:
1. Would TPB be able to order something like that for a customer.
2. Would it cost extra? If so, how much, roughly?
If it works out, TPB will definitely be at the top of my list for getting my hands on this thing. Thanks!

Absolutely! You just have to be prepared for the wait... Custom orders from Music Man are about 16 weeks from order to ship (to us). At least that's the current estimate. The lead time also depends somewhat on the time of year, but we have not seen it less than 12 weeks since we've been a dealer...
There's no additional cost for custom orders. However, custom orders are final as it's not a regular stocked piece.
Let us know when you're ready, we'd love to have the opportunity to help!
Peace!

To each his own.
Not quite sure why you stock Traben. I cant really take that brand seriously.

Agreed on all fronts.
I would say maybe some more 6 string basses. I know 5's lead the way as far as sales of boutique instruments, but having just a few six stringers available often would be nice.

Strings... the big bass repeat purchase.
Honestly, I buy most of my gear used.
Strings are about my only "repeat purchase".
Ken Smith Compressor-wounds. Tough strings to get, great strings to play.
If you had 'em at a reasonable price, I'd gladly buy them from you.

We have not yet seen any new fretless models, but we'll keep an eye out for you!
I'm not sure what you mean by "rubbery bridge"... The Neo has a chrome metal bridge...
Peace!

All of the bridges are metal... That particular model has a metal bridge painted black.
