Hi Mike!

A very warm welcome to Talkbass. I'm sure everyone here appreciates you taking the time out of your schedule to help us. (I believe you were touring with Banyan this weekend?...hope the shows went well!).

Became interested in your basswork when I heard you with Porno For Pyros on their "Good Gods Urge" album. (And I really enjoy the "120 Minutes" version of "Kimberly Austin")....Hope to someday see you live!

Take care,
Stephanie

I'd like to take a second to say hello too, Mike. I've been a fan of your work since I first heard Double Nickels on the Dime back in the early 80's. Welcome and I look forward to "speaking" with you.

I forget exactly, I thought 91 but I could easily be off by a year or two.

This is my opportunity to welcome you. Good luck and thanks for being here. Also, not to get you in a bind with any of the forum rules, whether it's allowed or not, I'm going to provide your tour schedule as reference to members who want to come out to hear and greet ya!! I'm gunning for the Khyber show in Philly. Guys in my band play there but I've never been.

Hey ZULUFUNK,

I would always encourage someone to post another's tour schedule. Actually, you've done a service to anyone here that would like to see Mr. Watt play.

Thanks!

hi,

just three ways? ok:

1) became a way of expression for stuff burstin' out of my head

2) allowed me to tour and see the world

3) created challenges to help me grow

I gotta add a fourth:

4) made it possible for me to make music w/d. boon!
