Mark Lanegan

Hello Mike,

I have one of your cd's, the wrestling record, and the ninth song features Mark Lanegan...the way he sings it, it really gets under my skin.
Did you pick him because you thought that he fitted the song, or was it just coincidence? I really think this pounding, throbbing rhytm of the first song really fits his low voice. Fantastic!
I think I like the jazz-like songs the most on the album...is the boat-record a bit similar to those songs? I'm thinking of getting that one too.

Did you hear "Long gone Day" by Mad Season? That's one really wicked song and he sings it so...so well!
Can you recommend any other records with him singing?

Much respect to your playing...more bassists should play like they are.

Niels.
