Chris,

Very illuminating approach! Seeing a simple bassline with octaves was a eurika moment for me. The upper note creates a visible attraction for the previous note.

Great to read a lesson structure that just works and makes sense. You are a good teacher, well done and muchas gracias! I'll surprise my keyboard player buddy who has been putting up with me just faking it till now. haha..... only been playing 8 months but loving it......
