writing out songs...

mike,

this is just a curiosity question: when you're writing out your songs prior to demoing them, do you write out the chord changes or bass lines in any way on paper or do you do it off memory?

I do if the alzheimers is really kicking in!

seriously, when I'm showing my cats the tune, I write out the flow of the parts (for example: part a, part b, part c, back to part b...) after teaching them each part.
