Good idea! Although I'm not sure what number guys like Tom and Vic with their multiple MTD's would choose...

Actually the number system has already been decided. It goes in order of when you ask for your club number.

ex. MTD club member 1, 2, 3, etc....

Hi, all!
I have been off the boards for a while due to an unforeseen accident. (hit by a car) Doesn't seem like I was missed though. Nevertheless it good to see the MTD thread alive and kickin'. I'm glad I got my number early.

Paul, you were ABSOLUTELY missed, and I'm very glad to see you back online. I most sincerely hope you're doing better, and I'll reserve comment on the perp... it wouldn't be right for me to express my feelings towards that... that... person...

Oops, I never asked for a number, but hey, I'm not that fussed really, as I have the bass sitting at home.

Now if I can just sell off enough gear to buy another one....

I got it!.........It's absolutley breathtaking...........the only issue with it so far, is that I don't think that it is the EXACT bass that they showed on Bass central........BC list the bass as having a Crotch walnut top while Mike's paperwork list is as claro walnut..........is it the same thing.....it doesn't seem to have the same figuring as the one in the pic (I like this one a bit better).........it could be the lighting they had when they took the pic, though.....either way, it's beautiful.......

I've been wanting ot get my hands on an MTD just to try one... but I've been doing my best NOT to do that, because I know I'd probably start a major case of GAS and there's no way I can afford to get one anytime in the near future.

One day... one day...

All I have is a camera phone.......don't know if it would do the bass justice.........BTW definitley not the same bass from the pic....checked the serial number.............not that it's a HUGE deal, but it makes me wonder a bit about the overall honesty of those cats........I know I specifically asked if that was the exact bass........the customer service was already borderline (though Beaver was pretty great ) so the whole misleading thing is a bit disturbing.........stil,, a great bass that's even newer than the one in the pic...According to the date, one of the first ones completed this year...........
