This is only a few days old. Got a great deal on it so I had to try it out. Decided I'd rather have the SB14 or a USA L-2000.

Got it from MF. The E string was dead, intonation was off and the setup wasn't great. I put on some new Lakland SS strings and adjusted it up. Plays and sounds wonderful now.

I could just pay the return shipping and send it back to MF, but I thought I'd give my fellow TB'ers a shot at one for a great price. Click for specs.

No, this bass has about 8 hours of playing time on it. It's definitely not worn.

I played one of these at GC the other night. I was impressed!! Probably the best sounding/playing bass in the store. The pup/preamp combination is REALLY nice. EBMM has a winner with these.

I've decided to also consider trades because I'll be buying something to to replace this anyway.

I currently have a beautiful passive reverse P/J John Hill and Pod X3 Live so I can ape just about any tone. Still the MM/L-2000/Rick sounds are the hardest to cover.
