    Favorite Genres:
Mostly anything! Specialize in Dance Music.
    Gigs and Ensembles:
1977 till Present EXPRESSO Dance And Show Band (doing 60's 70's 80's Top 40 style Show & Dance Music). ****** PRIOR TO 1977, SEE MY BIO in the "ABOUT YOU SECTION, below!!
    Previously Owned Gear:
You name it, I've owned it over the past 40 years! Still have over 20 Amps, FENDER, ACOUSTIC Control Corp., VOX, AMPEG, SUPRO, KUSTOM, MARSHALL, OLIVER etc. Just can't part with them. Wife says it's a disease!!!! Probably is! But I've spent most my life with these amps and I LOVE them ALL! My very first Bass was a brand NEW 1964 Danelectro U2 and in 1966 a GRECO Violin model which I upgraded to a "real" Hofner Beatle Bass in 1967.(working summer jobs and putting every PENNY into my BASS dreams!). 1969 a Gibson EB-O and immediately switched up to the Gibson EB-3. 1970 I spent almost every Dollar I made working at Eighth Street Music, Phila. and purchased my FENDER Precision Bass, JAZZ BASS & Telecaster Bass. in 1971 added a 2nd Fender Jazz. ( Still have all 4 Fenders to this day!!!). in 1972 & 73 I briefly went through a Rickenbacker 4001, a Dan Armstrong (plexi), a Gibson Thunderbird & Les Paul Recording Bass and an Ovation Bass. Did not develop any kind of "AFFAIR" with any of these Basses and decided to spend the rest of my career with the FENDERS!! TRUE LOVE is SOOOO Hard to find!!!! ** SIDE NOTE: At age 14 in 1965, I was having more dreams about having that HOFNER VIOLIN Bass AND VOX ESSEX BASS AMP than about GIRLS!!!!!!!!! ( The dreams "LEVELED" out equally about a year later, thankfully!!!).
    Influences and Teachers:
Listened heavily at a young age to NOKIE EDWARDS of The Ventures originally, then BILL WYMAN of the Rolling Stones, Jack Bruce on that amazing "Fresh Cream" LP , TIM BOGART of Vanilla Fudge and JOHN McVie on that "John Mayall's - BLUESBREAKERS" LP , were early player influences. Paul McCartney was a major influence on me because I sang at age 12, and FINALLY, PAUL broke down the barrier proving BASS PLAYERS can now come UP FRONT and be Lead VOCALIST as well!! MAJOR CONRIBUTION for BASS Players that up until then were always hidden in the BACK LINE!! (Not to forget mentioning how "FASHIONABLE" that HOFNER BEATLE BASS looked!!! HAD to HAVE ONE!!
    Hobbies and Interests:
Own Recording Studio, Engineer &. Producer.
Grew Up in Lansdale, Penna, in the Suburbs of Philadelphia! I Began playing Guitar at age 11 (1962) switching over to Bass Guitar at age 14 (1965). Started performing in COMBOS at age 13 and continued throughout Jr. High & High School. In 1970 went on the road travelling and working as Bass Player with The Dovell's, Chubby Checker & Danny & the Juniors. Working a "day" job at Eighth Street Music In Center City Philly 1970 -72, gave me fantastic opportunities to gain info & access to some of Philly's "happening" Recording Studios at that time. I had the amazing good fortune to be the "Studio" Bass player on quite a few "One Hit Wonders" that came out during 1970 -72'. The Old Cameo Parkway Studio located on South Broad Street was a VERY busy Place then and was running sessions almost around the clock! Some of those " One Hit Wonders" which I recorded on were: The original "Band of Gold" by Freda Payne, the original " Tighter and tighter" by Tommy James ( under the name,"Alive & Kickin'" ) , The Original " United We Stand, Divided We Fall " by The Brotherhood of Man. In 1972 I traveled with the Late Mary wells and '72--'73 travelled with The Dick Clark "Rock N Roll" Revival tour performing with Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, the Ronettes, The Angels & Little Richard. In 1974 I had the great opportunity to travel with the O'jay's , The spinners and Percy Sledge. In 1977 I formed The EXPRESSO Dance And Show Band ( which travelled nation wide working high caliber night clubs for over 15 years ), and still continue performing today with EXPRESSO, which is now run by my DAUGHTER Ashley, who is the LEAD VOCALIST. In 2002 I released a SOLO CD, "TURN ON THE WORD", in which I expressed my Spiritual beliefs and personal testimonies in song. I have Loved the BLESSING to have been able to have a successful career as a Bass Player, and would not have traded it for anything!!!
