    Current Setup:
French Bows by Andre Richaume, Marcel LaPierre

    French bass

Also own but don't use much:
French Bows by Steven Reiley, Doerfler
Small German bass labeled Anton Schroeder

    Bass guitars

    Fender jazz
    Gigs and Ensembles:
    Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra
    G.A.S. List:
Currently on Susan Lipkins' waiting list.

Interested in Lipkins, Reid Hudson Jean Grunberger, Fuchs bows; would love a great Vigneron or Sartory. I wish Benoit Rolland or Stephane Thomachot made bass bows.

There are many beautiful Contrabasses I have drooled over - Rocca, Busan, Bergonzi, Maggini.
Thinking about some day commissioning Daniel Hachez to make a bass.

    As for bass guitar,
I'd love a Carl Thompson fretless, Anthony Jackson or Matt Garrison's Fodera or a Six string fretted Ken Smith.
    Influences and Teachers:
Teachers - Stephen Lester (Chicago Symphony), Laura Snyder (Milwaukee Symphony)

    Inspiration from
Hal Robinson, Ed Barker, Klaus Stoll, Daniel Marillier, Jurik Dybal, Paul Ellison, Tim Cobb, Francois Rabbath,

    Jaco, Matt Garrison, Janek Gwizdala

David McGill (Chicago Symphony principal bassoon)
    Janos Starker's phenomenal cello technique.
