  • About

    Philly, Pa/New York, New York
    Favorite Genres:
Pretty much everything. I listen to all stuff from funk to what's known today as world music.
    Gigs and Ensembles:
Free lance working pro of 40 years.
    Previously Owned Gear:
(many) Fender Jazz basses, Tobiases (California), MTD Americans, Spector USA's, Warwick Dolphin, all kinds of Yamahas(TRBs, BBs, Nathan East and Pattitucci Sig. models), Modulus (Genesis and Quantums), SX jazz basses, all modded up...forget it, the list is too long. I've owned pretty much everything out there at one time or another.
I like Hartke heads and cabs, SWR cabs, Genz-Benz and GK amps, Ampeg....and any combination of those. I am a hard core non high end amplification user. Been there, done that, and I never found one I liked.
    G.A.S. List:
My wish? To not have G.A.S.! Ok, I'd love to try a Surine or a Sei.
    Influences and Teachers:
Everything and everybody....you can learn something from anything if you're open to it. I've studied jazz in N.Y., classical upright with a member of the Philadelphia Orchestra and have played in all kinds of musical situations, ranging from R&B, fusion jazz and classic rock groups to ethnic dance company pit orchestras, but for me, it always boils back down to old school R&B. That's what I grew up loving.
    Hobbies and Interests:
Landscaping, woodworking and generally tooling around with my hands....
