    Gigs and Ensembles:
    Former ass't principal, Hudson Valley Philharmonic; former principal, Greensboro Symphony,Civic Symphony of Boston, and New Philharmonia in Newton, MA. I now play with the Boston Civic Symphony (http://www.csob.org/)
    Influences and Teachers:
    My primary teacher was William Rhein, late ass't principal of the Boston Symphony. I have taken lessons with Bob Olson and John Salkowski, also of the Boston Symphony, and influences have to include Ed Barker, Todd Seeber, and Larry Wolfe (all BSO). Three of my four children are bassists, and all four (including the violist) were members of the Greater Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra (GBYSO)
