Played a little bit in high school, but sold my Gibson Thunderbird for $50 to raise money when I was 19. Played tuba all through college, so the bass clef is in my blood. After school got completely out of music to chase a career and raise a large family. Exposed my kids to music at every opportunity, but none are actively playing any more. 2 years ago, in my early fifties, kids mostly raised and career in decline, I decided to make music a part of my life again. Been playing and gigging since then. Best decision I ever made.
