I got this cab after have previous experence with Avatar producds a few years ago.I recently went through a boutique cabinet phase, and never quite found what I was looking for.I used a Berggie 322 for about 8 months, and switched to an Accugrrove El Wappo Jr. Both great cabs, but didn't have the tone I was looking for. This Avatar neo 410 just puts the other cabs to shame. This cab produces some serious lowend without being boomy. It's tighter, and more defined without sounding sterile.I opted for the blonde tolex that looks really sharp.I used an AMP 250 watt head for testing, and the basses used were an MPG Level 5,Kubicki Ex-Factor,and a Tobias Killer B 6.It amazed me how clear all the basses sounded through this cab.The others weren't even close.I can't wait to try it with the Pearce BC-1 and Stewart poweramp. This is one of those times where I say"why didn't I do this a long time ago?" At 460.00 shipped, you just can't beat it.You can get 2 or 3 of these for the price of a boutique cab.Sounds like a plan to me.I already have plans for a 2x12 neo,and a 2x10 neo.Do youself a favor, try one of these before you spend too much money on one of the other high end brands.

Okay. For the price paid, you can't give it less than a 9 unless it blows up in your face.
The sound quality is fine. I personally like playing through it and am STILL adjusting my sound with my Markbass amp head and my new bass the Jaguar. Takes a little while to get exactly what I want.
I feel so far that when I get it to rumble like I want it to as far as volume level goes, the sound quality lacks a little. I am sure this can be fixed through my settings, so I cannot say for sure this is the cabinet, but that is what it seems so far.
I played yesterday through it and had a very fun practice. One of my most enjoyable practices.
I do judge reasonably tough and I would not have given it a 9 if not for the price and having the Line-X added to make it a beast.
Truth be told, I just ordered another one for my other practice spot and so I can run both together for an 8x10 as they are both at 8 ohms and my amp is a 800 watter.
For people getting their first 4x10's or getting their first non-cheap cabinet, I have to say this is a great choice. I am still somewhat new to playing and this gives me all of the energy that I need.
Hope this helps.
