I bought this off eBay with a Boss BCB-6 pedal case and a Behringer overdrive for $128 AUD. I'm selling the other two but most DEFINITELY keeping this pedal! The chorus effect is really lush and with a bit of playing around it really does sound thick and liquid-like. It's quite versatile too, from a very subtle "warble" sound to something crazy that is almost like a pitch shifter. I used it at two gigs last night and I could really hear the sound on a couple songs (originals) which really added a new dimension. I'm really happy with this pedal!
Overall, the sound quality and versatility, the ease of use and Boss' rugged construction make this one a winner. Highly recommended if you are in the market to add chorus to your sound.

I really like this pedal. I use it to make the sound more definitive (not the singing type ) It's capable of satisfying all the expectation from a chorus pedal in a bass rig.

This is a nice sounding pedal from Boss Bass series.
The first thing that made me an impression was its low noise. The effect is almost dead silent. The sound is full and warm, without loss of lows or glassiness. The low filter works very well. You can set it flat so it works like any other chorus, or back it up so the effect is applied only to your highs. This is very useful if you want to preserve your presence in a busy mix.
I can see why some users are complaining about the effect being too subtle. Compared to, for instance Digitech Multichorus, it is indeed less notable, so if you want really deep, pronounced chorus, this may not be your first choice.
