Pros: Simple, Classic sound, easy playability
Cons: Not the most versatile bass out there

In order to get the full effect of this bass, you have to try it w/ flatwound strings. When I got it, it came w/ Fender super bass roundwound strings and had a lot of finger noise. I was somewhat dissappointed in the sound and couldnt really get it to sound right. It seems i've had this problem before w/ Pbasses, live they get lost in the mix but they are essential for recording in the studio. Then I slapped some Fender flats on it............HOLY F#$NG SH$t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This beauty came to life with a roar! Talk about presence, this bass has got it. I was very impressed w/ the way it felt and sounded w/ my band after putting flats on it. Its a great bass, I dont think it really needs anything else but I ordered a Gotoh 201 bridge to try w/ it just to see if anything happened. Of all the other Pbasses i've had, I always liked the combo of a Fender 62' reissue pickup and Badass II/String thru bridge. Like I said, I dont know if this will benefit from that but its worth a shot. I may go w/ a new pbass pickup too, maybe GFS, but we'll have to see after the bridge upgrade. Overall, a GREAT investment.

Pros: Great neck and the sound is excellent great old school tone
Cons: Keep turning the tuners the wrong way they are reverse but that is the only thing .

I have the Honey blond and it is a beauty. This thing has that tone that was in my head that fat old school p-bass sound. it feels and plays line a dream nice p- width neck and the finish on the neck is not stickey like that poly garbage they put on the American basses now. Thr Brigde can be fun to get the intonation right because it does not tilt but it works. The electronics are very quiet and the pickup sounds grreat nice and deep with grindy mids just like the 50's ones.
I am very happy with this bass for the money I don't think you could get any more of an accurate vintag sound or feel.
this is one very nice bass. Try one you will like it.

Pros: sound, looks, price
Cons: not usa made

I've had one of these for nearly a year and have gigged locally and traveled with the bass, even shipping it across the country and back with no issues. I bought it thinking it would be a decent sounding, nice looking pbass that could be easily replaced if damaged, lost, or stolen.......It has met all of my expectations.

It's a solid and affordable bass with nice looks.

Pros: Great value, warm tone, excellent sustain, vintage look
Cons: Not a slapper (OK by me)

I let go of my 2003 Highway 1 P Bass for this one. It had a warmer sound and more comfortable neck. Even though I have eight basses, I find myself going to this one for a variety of uses - mostly in church. I have no need for any other P Bass. I love this one.

Pros: sound, feel, overall craftmanship
Cons: tight tuners

When I received my beautiful 2 tone burst 50's p, i immediately put flats on it. This puppy sounds killer! Deep, smooth bass response, but enough glass that it is still a very articulate sounding instrument even with the tone rolled down. With the tone at approx. half way and some high density foam under the strings, I have the quinesential (sp?) motown bass tone. With the tone all the way down, i'm in reggae heaven The neck is HUGE (especially considering my other main bass is a Geddy Lee), but it feels fantastic! The neck has a very comfortable shape, and a smooth finish. I put the pup & bridge covers on, as well as a tug bar, and it looks beautiful! The only downside for me are that the tuners are extremely tight, and it took FOREVER to restring but other than that, i can't complain! highly recommended.
