Pros: easy to set up, phantom power, usable tones.
Cons: cheap housing

Great for the person just starting out or wanting to do some demo tracks on the computer. Easy to use, usble sounds. The meters are really just for show. sound is great for the price. Dont dig the feather weight case. Doesnt seem very durable

Pros: easy to use, looks nice
Cons: No line level for guitar inputs!

i've been using this toneport for about a year, just for home recording on my imac.

its very easy to get going, just plug it in, install the provided software (which i dont use anymore) and away! nothing more to say really it does what it needs to do. plugs my bass in, and outputs to my monitors.

my only real problem is there is no line level for the instrument inputs, there is just a normal input, which has a level too high for my passive (but hot) jazz bass. And a pad input which seems to be a bit low for it!

The mic inputs have line levels, why not just have a general input level control?

Overall good, but i wish i bought an interface with a line level control!

Pros: Low latency monitoring with great distortion sound
Cons: No line level for guitar

UX2 straight into an imac,
Have been recording some great quality music with this set up . People are offering me money to record them?
i love being able to record at very low latency with a distorted guitar or effected bass but only record the direct sound so you can pick and choose sounds later. 24 bit . I have better ( More expensive ) interfaces, but for ease of work flow and quality, this is what I use. I love it
