Pros: Massive 300W all tube sound! Half the weight of an SVT! Very rare!
Cons: No level control for the overdrive. Only 4 or 8 Ohm

So, let's start with a note: I bought this amp used with a 6HE roadready flightcase. I have no idea what the original owner paid for it new.

There are only 16 of these beast ever made. Koch also produces the Eden VT300b and the Sadowski SA200. I was told that at a certain time Koch also made a limited run of VT300b's with a different housing --> the KB2500 Limited Edition! I checked with Koch and they confirmed the story.
This amp should not be compared to the original Koch KB2500 (not limited edition), it resembles much more to the VT300b or de SA200.

I am still amazed by this beast. I would say it is cleaner as an Ampeg SVT, but it also has more punch. (The sound should be the same as the VT300b.) The switchable damping also makes it very usefull for slapping (compared to other full tubes)

I just gave it a 9 because nothing is perfect...
