Description: Behringer's ULTRABASS BXL900 delivers a ton of great features in an economical package. A wedge-shaped bass combo with a powerful 12" speaker and 90W of output, it is a perfect size for small gigs and practice. It provides a clean and a distortion channel, each with full control. Its 7-band EQ features a revolutionary See-What-You-Play FBQ frequency indicator that immediately shows you which bass frequency corresponds with which fader on your EQ to allow you instant sound shaping. Beyond that, a switchable ULTRABASS subharmonics processor and a compressor with adjustable threshold let you further tailor your sound to suit the style, while a musical limiter keeps you from ratting out when you're hitting the strings hard. A headphone jack lets you keep your practicing to yourself.

Pros: Price
Cons:

I have outgrown my 15Watt, 8 inch practice amp and was looking for something I could practice with, was portable, and had decent tone. After looking at a bunch of specs and reviews I decided on this one. For the price it is great! Good sound that really growls and rattles all the spars in the basement drop ceiling and loud enough to do some jams with.

Just because you've always done it that way doesn't mean it's not incredibly stupid.

Pros: price
Cons: quality

Died on my just over a year after purchasing brand new. All I used it for was to practice in my apartment at low volumes. I contacted them about it and they said it sounded like i needed a new one. this shouldn't happen...sounded pretty good for what it was before then though.

Pros: Cheap
Cons: Poor Quality

It is May. I bought this in January and it is dying already. The amp is starting to make popping noises and the sound is getting muddy. Too bad for the price was right, but the quality is very poor. That is probably why GC was discounting these amps so much.

Pros: Price, features,
Cons: sound, not enough power

It has some cool features like the Ultrabass effect(which pretty much is an octave effect). and i love the auxillary input for an ipod or cd player. It sounds good for what its meant to do...practice. not meant for shows unless with a DI. just not enough power for a whole 90 watts. I would not recommend it unless you are looking for something to practice with. If you need a serious gigging combo amp, save up a little more.

Pros: Price, Sound
Cons: Quality

I just recently bought this amp in April, and so far it's pretty nice. I've been one of the lucky few to have good luck with Behringer Amps in the past, so I gave this one a shot. The sound quality is very nice, 7-Band EQ is a great sound shaper. Ultra-Bass is good for those high solos, nothing else. Only problem I've had so far is this internal buzzing on some high notes through the amp. Other than that, pretty satisfied so far.
