The EBS WahOne is the only versatile wah-wah pedal designed specifically to enhance your bass groove. This unique pedal is based on the classic wah-wah concept but with extended features. With an easy dial-in design the choice is yours - use it as a wah-wah, envelope filter or volume pedal.

I have previously been playing through a Jim Dunlop Bass Wah. This was a very simple pedal with limited range. After extensive research on bass wah pedals I came upon the EBS version. I found it extremely difficult to come by here in Australia. The only supplier was charging twice the price than in the US. I ended up ordering one from America.
The actual pedal looks just like most other wah pedals on the market. The manual recommends different settings to start with. The classic wah settting is just that-with plenty more sweep available. And of course the reason for a bass wah is funk. There is a range swtich, directing what frequencies you want to accentuate for wahing. This allows for a big range of sounds to funk around with. There is also low pass and high q buttons. The manual doesn't really explain what they do, but pressing them makes for even more different sounds. There is a tubeism button that simulates a valve amp and comes pretty close.
A volume switch changes the pedal from a wah to volume pedal. I like to use this for the start of Metallica's Orion as well as fade outs.
The best feature of the WahOne is that none of the bottom end is lost on your bass, which has been the bane of bass pedals for many years. There is no loss of signal i.e. the pedal retains the bass sound. I use this pedal for funk as well as metal style Cliff and Geezer, and it works well for them all. In the words of Molly Meldrum 'Do yourselves a favour' and go and get one of these.

Searched for a good wah built for bass... there aren't many though, i had tried Dunlops wah pedals: 105Q, GCB95, 535Q.. many friends (who know what I want well enough ) said don't even try morley.. I know many musicians use morley but the quacky and aggressive waaaauuuuww whaaaa sort of scream was the thing i was after.. This baby gave it to me Listen to the bass sound on Lenny Krevitz "Fly Away" you can get the exact sound or even with more low end. If this was stolen, i'd find the one who stole it!!!
